Yes, the Deutschlandticket is a subscription. You can purchase it as a HandyTicket in the VGN area. You can do this best through the NürnbergMOBIL app. It will be automatically extended there and can be flexibly canceled monthly.
With the purchase of your Deutschlandticket through the NürnbergMOBIL app, you receive 600 VAG_Rad free minutes, 10 free kilometers for scouter and 15 free minutes for Voi each month.* This also applies to the Bayerisches Ermäßigungsticket and the Deutschlandticket Nürnberg-Pass.
Unfortunately, the Deutschlandticket can only be purchased for the person registered in the NürnbergMOBIL app. If you want to buy the ticket for someone else, that person needs their own user account.
Notices of termination must be given by the 10th of the month at the latest, for the end of the respective calendar month. The most convenient way to do this is here: VGN Onlineshop MeinAbo (meinabo.vag.de). Additionally, the cancellation can be made in the NürnbergMOBIL app using the cancellation button stored with the Deutschlandticket.
As an alternative to the HandyTicket, the Deutschlandticket can also be ordered as a chip card ("eTicket") in the VGN area. The ordering process in this case takes place on meinabo.vag.de. A HandyTicket can only be purchased via the NürnbergMOBIL app.
Payment is made by SEPA direct debit. This applies to all variants of the Deutschlandticket.
